WELCOME TO KWARA STATE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA NORTH AMERICA'S PLATFORM

KSANG is a non-profit association established for the promotion of educational and charitable programs within the meaning of section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Association primarily aims to promote the image and well being of Kwarans, friends of Kwarans and Nigerians residing in the North America including Canada; it accomplishes this by getting involved in its immediate communities through community and volunteer programs, promoting understanding amongst Kwarans at home and abroad, initiating and encouraging community projects, agitating for a responsible government in Kwara state, and involvement in acts that promote the unity of Nigerians all over the world.

It is a great joy for me to unveil and introduce the general public to this new and most elaborate, highly secured website of the association. It is a big stride in the right direction and it has materialized at a time when it would be needed most more

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF KSANG

1. To promote dialogue, understanding and cooperation in the aid of social, economic, educational development that furthers the well being of all Kwarans, Nigeria, and the US community.

2. To be compassionate and provide assistance to the needy and to encourage, support and facilitate the creation of sense of community among individuals and organizations committed to peace, social justice and sustainable development in Nigeria and elsewhere in the world.

3. To promote and advance the science, process and art of non-violent conflict resolution, community and grassroots empowerment through public enlightenment, and other educational means including research, publication, discussion and community participation.

4. To provide opportunities to meaningfully contribute to the promotion of rule of law, respect for human dignity, realization of the economic and social growth potential of Kwara state of Nigeria, entrenchment of accountability and transparency in governance, promotion of cultural awareness and greater understanding of Nigeria overseas, promotion of healthy relationship between Nigeria and people of other nations.

5. To engage in such other activities or programs that are intended to promote and advance the objectives and goals of KSANG.
